The house and its setting are lovely, and the location is fantastic. Still, for the price, I expected more basic supplies. We had to buy everything, even cooking salt, and made several supermarket trips because we thought a few groceries would be provided. A bag on the kitchen table had toilet cleaner, toilet paper, and paper towels, but ideas for the host would be salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, laundry soap, and cooking oil. The listing said BBQ grills would be available, but we couldn't find one. After looking into it, we learned they could be rented, and we'd already bought food for the grills. We'd likely need to buy coal as well. It was a nice stay, but it could have been much better.

The two-bedroom house was much nicer than we expected and had everything we needed. Aldi, Home Bargains, Tesco, and plenty of places to eat are nearby. We'd definitely book again.

Suite 66 had a really good-sized living area and a nice kitchen. It had two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and a single, and the other with an ensuite.

There's no on-site leisure activity, which may be a downside for some. We wanted to explore the area, though, and these good-quality self-catering apartments made an ideal base. They're well placed for touring and an easy walk from the village centre.

The accommodation was nice, though on the small side, and had radiant heat in the ceilings. Laundry is free in a separate building. The electricity usage bill comes after checkout.
