The views and location were stunning, and the owners were so lovely. Our room was just right, with cosy, very comfortable beds and an easy-to-use shower. Breakfast was piping hot and perfectly cooked, a 10 out of 10, with plenty of cereal, tea and orange juice. We got a warm welcome and had a perfect stay. We’d most definitely like to come again. Patricia gave us such a warm, friendly welcome, and breakfast was wonderful, freshly cooked with a great vegetarian option and a lovely view of the grounds and countryside. The accommodation is simple but has everything you need, with old-fashioned touches that make it feel like stepping back in time. Its beautiful location near Bristol airport made it a perfect stopover. I’d recommend it, it’s quite different from an ordinary hotel.

The rooms suit the mansion’s appearance, and ours had everything we needed. It’s a peaceful, idyllic spot, with a remarkable view across the reservoir and wildlife like roe deer sometimes appearing. We were welcomed warmly by lovely, helpful people.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and our room was exceptionally clean. The large old house where The Parsonage is set is beautiful, full of character, and very well cared for. You can see the pride of ownership throughout. Staying there was a unique and wonderful experience.

It’s hard to believe we paid only £80. The breakfast was beautifully served and went well beyond what we expected. Our room was private, spacious, clean and quiet, and both the place and the hosts had loads of character. A special place, everything was perfect.
