Jeremy and Janet were lovely hosts, very welcoming and happy to help. On arrival, Jeremy showed us around the B&B, including the breakfast room and a lounge for our sole use throughout the stay. It had two comfortable sofas, a TV and plenty of DVDs. The views from there and from our bedroom were fantastic, across the Vale of Evesham to the Chiltern Hills. Our Waddesdon room was spacious, with a large en suite, a bath and a separate shower. There was a kettle, hot chocolate, coffee and several kinds of Twinings tea bags. A small, very cold cool box held bottles of milk and water, and there were Biscoff biscuits and Tunnocks tea cakes too. You choose breakfast the day before, with a wide selection of hot and cold options, plus juice, tea and coffee. The eggs were fresh and delicious, and the poached eggs were done perfectly. Jeremy and Janet’s chickens deserve the credit. There was lots of parking, always a bonus. The White Swan, the local pub, is about a five-minute walk from Valeview and serves the usual pub food. It has plenty of outside seating, including a beer garden and covered area. The bus stop is also about five minutes away, with buses into Aylesbury.
