The breakfasts were superb. Both mornings the poached eggs were cooked perfectly, and everything on the plate was delicious. Karen was so welcoming and friendly. The room was huge, with a big comfortable bed, plenty of storage, a couch, and tea and coffee facilities. You could choose cafetiere or instant coffee, and fresh milk was in a small fridge in the corridor. My external bathroom was also huge, with a separate bath, a powerful shower, and free shampoo and shower gel. The room had dressing gowns, an iron and board, and a hairdryer too. It’s a two minute walk to the beach, handy for the do I was attending on the low green, and about half an hour on foot from the train station. I can’t believe I was lucky enough to get a room here. I’d give this fantastic B&B more than five stars if I could.

Karen was pleasant and extremely helpful, and she made freshly cooked breakfasts to order. The place was spotlessly clean and our needs were taken care of throughout. Our ensuite room had a king sized bed and everything we needed, including a varied tea and coffee tray, filtered water, shortbread, and complimentary toiletries. They restocked these daily, and fresh milk was kept in the fridge. There was also a drawer of 'extras' in case we'd forgotten something, along with an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer. The B&B is close to the sea and not far from town, with plenty of parking onsite and in nearby streets. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

10 out of 10. Everything was clean and tidy, and breakfast was made to order with a fantastic selection and great quality. It’s on a beautiful, quiet street just a stone’s throw from the beach, which welcomes dogs. We’d definitely stay again when we come to Ayr.

We booked for Tuesday night and had a wonderful stay. Karen was so welcoming that we felt at home straight away. The room was spotless, very large, and all the details had been taken care of. Breakfast had a great selection and was freshly cooked at the time we’d arranged. Karen was easy to reach and happy to help in any way she could. It’s a lovely area of Ayr. We just wish we’d stayed longer, and hopefully we’ll be back soon.
