I felt like a guest, not just a customer, thanks to Jonathan going the extra mile throughout my much-needed week away. My Dad booked the B&B for me, and I'd happily return and recommend it. I was running late, but the owner was happy to adjust the time when I got in touch. At check-in I got a warm, friendly welcome and a tour, and they happily answered my questions. As this was my first B&B stay, I really appreciated that. The place was spotless inside and out, beautifully decorated, cosy and homely, with lovely high ceilings. It felt more like home than a hotel. My room had a comfortable double bed, two chairs and a table, a wardrobe with drawers, hairdryer and hot water bottle, TV, and a kettle with cups and everything for hot drinks. The en-suite had towels, hand wash, shower gel and a shower puff. Those little extras would be handy for anyone who hadn't brought their own. There were plenty of breakfast choices. I had cooked breakfast and orange juice every morning and really enjoyed it. Jonathan was happy to make my fry-up early one day so I wouldn't miss it, and gave me something for an upset stomach that helped, so thank you. Whether it was just me or a room full of guests, he'd chat with everyone and had lots of knowledge and advice about the surrounding areas. It's a central spot, close to shops, the train and bus stations, places to eat, and a short walk from the beach, yet it was very quiet. I brought magazines and craft things but ended up falling asleep and getting a great night's sleep. On my last day there was no rush. Once I was packed, I found Jonathan, and he took time to catch up about how things had gone. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere warm, cosy and peaceful in Ayr. Thanks for the relaxing break.

We came across Grange view while passing through and were so glad we stopped. I had the most comfortable night's sleep, and the owner couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. I'd happily recommend it and will stay again if the chance comes up.

The host was lovely and really helpful, and breakfast was good. It's a very comfortable place, close to Ayr city centre. I'll come back.

The owner was great and made a lovely breakfast. The room was just okay.
