I’ve eaten here for both lunch and dinner, and on each visit I thought the service could’ve been better. The hotel’s decor and features are stunning, though a bit Bet Lynch. With a setting like that, I’d expect much better food and service. At my last lunch, I asked if there was a dog on the premises because of a foul wet-dog smell. I was told, "not today!!!" Why would the owner bring their three labroders into a restaurant? It put me off, and because I have a dog allergy, I won’t be back. That’s upsetting, since I’d probably have visited often if this hadn’t happened.

I’d picked the wrong date when booking, but the staff were really helpful and accommodating when I turned up. They gave us a gorgeous room that was spotless, and the whole stay was lovely. Breakfast was lovely too. I enjoyed it so much that I’m going back in three weeks. If you want a relaxing stay with top class staff, I’d definitely recommend this fabulous hotel.

The owners were lovely, and breakfast was brought right to our room in the morning. We found the accommodation really comfortable and stylish, and having our own entrance meant we could come and go whenever we liked. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for two nights. The room was stylish, the garden was beautiful to relax in, and the food was good and reasonably priced. Staff were pleasant.
