Waters Edge

We had the double room for two nights, and it was very clean. The staff are chatty and made my wife and me feel welcome straight away. The hot tub was amazing, peaceful, and relaxing, and I was impressed by the changing rooms. We could choose our own music, too. Breakfast was great both mornings, with lots of choice and anything you asked for. Nothing was too much trouble. Waters Edge never disappoints. We really enjoyed it, would recommend it, and will stay again.

Josie was lovely, and the room was beautifully presented and very clean. We had a fresh, good-quality full English breakfast in a box because of Covid. The room had plenty of tea and coffee, the TV worked properly, and the towels and dressing gowns were a nice standard. The useful pre-stay messages helped, and finding free parking nearby wasn't a problem. A top-quality B&B, with nothing to dislike. Highly recommended.

The staff are friendly and chatty, and made my partner and me feel welcome from the start. I've stayed at Waters Edge twice now, and both visits were really pleasant. It's close to the beachfront and South Pier. Parking could be better: if you're early and lucky you might get a spot outside, otherwise there's plenty further down the road at reasonable overnight prices. Looking forward to coming back this summer.

Paul, the manager, is really nice, and it's a pleasant little place in a handy spot near the shops and beach. Cheap and cheerful. There was a cat and dog downstairs, but they didn't affect my asthma, which I was thankful for, and the place was properly cleaned. We didn't try breakfast or the shower, so I can't comment on those. We were told the shower has to be switched on from outside the room. Parking is a bit of a pain. Blackpool seemed more run down than the last time I visited, with some hotels closed, fewer ice cream places, lots of weed smokers, and the Pleasure Beach costing a lot now. Even so, we had a really nice time.
