The owner was lovely, helpful and chatty. Our twin room was spacious and very clean, with huge fluffy white bath sheets. There’s a big lounge with several sofas and two dining tables. The breakfast area looked well equipped, though we booked room only. The location sits nicely between Ayr beach and the High Street, and there are on-street parking bays.

Just a short walk gets you to either the beach or the High Street, and the hotel lounge is large and really comfortable. Our bedroom was clean and pleasant, with everything we needed. I should have asked for a king-size bed, so that one’s on me. Some parts could use decorating and a bit of care, but that didn’t spoil our stay. I’d recommend the place and would return.

A very pleasant stay. The room was great, the staff were friendly, and the location is central with lots nearby. I’d highly recommend staying here.

For a work trip, this was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, and good value. The owner was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and there’s a good-sized lounge with a small bar. Breakfast was good. They don’t serve evening meals, but several good places to eat are only a 5-10 minute walk away.

Linda was wonderfully hospitable, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was great. Excellent value for money. Definitely recommend.
