Donnini provided splendid service, and the views were lovely. The apartment on South Harbour Street in Ayr had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it was a great place to stay in a great location.

I can't recommend this place after such poor service. We stayed in two apartments and had to phone each time to get the key code because neither time did the email arrive, even though the booking confirmations and invoices always did. Both places had pots and pans so badly scratched they couldn't be used, and they were never replaced. One pan also had grease left in it. There was hair on the TV table in one apartment. In the other, the bathroom ventilation didn't work and the heating kept failing. The locks in the first apartment stuck too. I reported the problems, but nothing was done. They emailed me a £100 voucher, then charged my card incorrectly for an extra day. I had to email the company again about that. With all of this, I really can't recommend them.
