We were leaving very early, and the staff even put together a breakfast bag for us. They were great and couldn’t have done more. The rooms were great too. We had a fantastic roast, really tasty and served in big portions. A perfect stop before a flight or while passing through. Highly recommended. :)

I was glad to see some dishes came in smaller portions, which is ideal for people like us with smaller appetites who don’t want to waste food. I had a really relaxed birthday lunch, with excellent food and friendly, efficient service. The location is very handy for Nailsea, and the loyalty card benefits were much appreciated. I’m looking forward to coming back.

It was lovely to catch up with old friends over lunch, and nobody hurried us even though we had lots to talk about. The staff were friendly and the service was very good. Everyone enjoyed the tasty meal and went home happy, so we’re ready to meet there again.

We enjoyed breakfast, though the dining area door was still locked at 8.00am. The bar had shut by the time we arrived shortly after 9.00pm. The bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable, but the room was cold on arrival and took several hours to warm up.

The food and service left us so disappointed. We were the only two people in the restaurant that evening, but our food arrived cold. I told the waitress, then as we were leaving I heard her and the kitchen staff laughing, as if it was funny. The breakfast was absolutely second class, too. Our room smelled of grease from the kitchen, and the smell got worse going down the stairs toward it. The rooms are on a very busy main road. Even with triple glazing, the noise from the wagons passing was horrendous. We couldn’t open the windows for fresh air, and the fan in the room was so noisy we had to switch it off.
