A lovely, peaceful farm stay with a nice host and good breakfast. Just be aware that the road in is tiny, though two-way, and only wide enough for one car. Better to arrive early than drive there at night.
Rob and Kate were fantastic hosts, warm and welcoming, and happy to suggest places to visit and dog-friendly spots to eat. Our dog loved the stay too. We spent two nights at this gorgeous place, which is in a great location, quiet but with plenty to do nearby. The accommodation was lovely and great value, and breakfast was great both mornings. We’ll definitely return. 5 stars!
The room was cosy, clean and had a comfy bed. Mornings came with delightful chickens and turkeys saying hello at this lovely farm. Breakfast was a fab continental spread: fresh free-range eggs, cereals, croissants and/or toast, fresh fruit, plus tea and coffee. Excellent.
A working farm with sheep, cows and cockerels, beautiful scenery, and real peace and quiet, miles from nowhere. The hosts were great. We’ll definitely go again.
There are plenty of walks nearby, so we didn’t need to drive anywhere, and we’d definitely stay again when we come back. Room 5 was lovely, very quiet, with a comfortable bed and private bathroom. Breakfast had such a big variety that choosing was hard: bagels, cream cheese, smoked salmon, different pastries, crumpets, fruit tea cakes, waffles, eggs, baked beans, fresh and tinned tomatoes, loads of cereals and yoghurts. Thank you 😊
