Premier Inn Bournemouth Central

The sea and pier views from our room were lovely, and breakfast was really decent for the price. Premier Inn Bournemouth Central is only a few minutes from the beach and Bournemouth Pier. Staff were friendly and efficient throughout, especially Lacey, who was gracious, proactive and quick to sort out anything I needed. They also handled a slightly awkward check-in on my part without any fuss. I’d happily stay again.

We couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep during either of our two nights here. The room was extremely hot, with no air conditioning and no windows we could open, so my partner and I were sweating and uncomfortable. We both felt ill through the night. When we reported it at reception the next morning, a staff member said there was nothing they could do because the rooms and building had no air conditioning. She pointed out that there was a fan in the room, but we told her it made no difference and only seemed to make the room hotter. It was our first stay at this Premier Inn, and the worst one we’ve experienced. We’ve stayed at many Premier Inns around the country, and all the others had air conditioning. I feel this is a serious issue for a hotel, and it’s wrong for the organisation not to have air conditioning in its rooms. We won’t come back and wouldn’t recommend this Premier Inn.

Miguel, the manager, was understanding and very helpful when we had a small issue. He dealt with it professionally and straight away. The service was excellent. The hotel has a prime spot overlooking the gardens, and the rooms with a view are spacious and good value. Thank you.

We were on the 8th floor and had a lounge area, which worked really well with the children. The views were great and it was very quiet. Miguel found us a room that suited our family perfectly, and he and the team go above and beyond. The bar staff were lovely and friendly, with good happy hour deals too. We’ve stayed here as a family before, and this visit was just as great. When we come to Bournemouth a few times a year, this is our favourite hotel because the theatre, shops, cinema and restaurants are all walkable. We’ll definitely be back, and hope Miguel and the same team are still here.
