The room at the Somerton Guest House was tidy and very clean, and the location was peaceful. I was happy enough with my stay. The bathroom was practical, though getting to it from the bedroom was awkward because there are a couple of steps down. There wasn’t a proper breakfast, but tea and coffee were provided in the room. Some fruit and breakfast bars were set out on the table on the landing.

The provider was friendly and the service was nice, and there was free street parking. The toilet was awful for space, an adult of any size couldn’t fit in there. The windows were poorly sealed too, so I could hear vehicle noise all night.

The owner was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and our spacious room was clean, well equipped, and had super-comfortable beds. The guest house is full of charm, with art, books, and antique furniture. It’s in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood with good connections to the city centre, and only a short distance from Belfast Castle. We’d absolutely stay again on our next Belfast trip. Such a hidden gem 🤩

Such a cute place, and we had a great stay. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Water pressure was pretty low, though. Still a great place to crash for the night!

We’ve just got home after a lovely night at Somerton House. It’s full of character and charm, and our room was faultless, spotlessly clean, warm, and had plenty of fresh towels and a comfortable bed. The rest of the house was just as clean. The family running it were really nice and happy to help with anything. Breakfast was lovely, with lots to choose from, and the food came piping hot, freshly made to order. I’d definitely stay at Somerton House again and recommend it to others.
