Both rooms were very clean, and the larger toilet worked fine for us, though the shower space felt a little tight. There weren't any bathtubs. Breakfast was simple, but good value and filling. We were first given a room below ground that wasn't very appealing, then moved to a much nicer one upstairs. The heater struggled and it got quite cold. Staff were friendly at night, both at check-in and with room service. The building feels old and has no lift, so you'll be carrying your bags on the stairs.

The cooked breakfast was top drawer, with plenty to choose from including cereal, yogurt, toast, tea and coffee, served from 7 to 9 on weekdays. The hotel was warm, and the price was fantastic. We arrived after a gig and got a lovely welcome. Room, service and breakfast were all first class. We stayed one night and will be back. Thanks! 👏👏👏👏

We've been around Scotland, and this was easily our favourite place. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome throughout. Breakfast had lots of tasty options, and the room was spotless. The bedding was so comfortable that I slept like a dream every night. I'd definitely come back.

We stayed in room 101 beside reception, but didn't hear any noise. The Smart TV was a nice touch, too. It's a three-star place, so nothing luxurious, but decent and reasonably priced. We could walk to great restaurants and some live music. The room was large, and the location worked well for exploring Glasgow over two nights. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and knew the area. They suggested the Botanical gardens and let us know the museums and similar places would already be closed. Breakfast was included, with hot cooked food and fresh fruit.

A lovely wee gem. The rooms are good, the service is amazing, and the staff are polite and helpful, especially Shiza and Olly. Breakfast is the best bit, well worth it and great value. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Glasgow.
