The old-style bar downstairs was exactly my kind of place, with the friendliest staff. I had a great chat with Luke, who’s also a Z4 enthusiast. The breakfast staff were lovely too, even offering to get us more yoghurt after an earlier guest had taken far too much and wasted all of it. Our room was perfectly adequate, very clean, with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Some might find it small, but I had no complaints. There’s a little private car park for guests, and once parked we could walk pretty much everywhere. A fantastic find for a short trip. It’s easy to default to big chains like Premier Inn in a larger city, but a hotel like this leaves you with happy memories. Thanks for a fab stay.

A comfortable, clean room and a very good breakfast, plus a small free car park. The shower was a bit weak. It’s a little urban pub tucked on a quiet street in the town centre, with a superb atmosphere, a well-stocked bar, and an open fire. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. A comfortable city retreat.

The staff’s kindness, help, and professionalism made me feel genuinely welcome each time. I’ve stayed here a couple of times, and the service has been consistently excellent. The rooms are always comfortable and fully equipped, with everything needed to feel at home. The small hotel is right by Merchant City, an unbeatable location for a comfortable city break. Highly recommended.

The staff were super nice, and Luk and Graham were especially kind. Our room was cool and clean, and the food and breakfast were good and plentiful. Parking is really practical if there’s a space, and they let you leave your car there the next day if you need to before heading off. Thank you for your kindness.
