The location puts Glasgow’s attractions, shops, and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel is friendly, the rooms are very clean, housekeeping is great, and there’s free Wi-Fi throughout. Reception is staffed around the clock, and the team goes above and beyond with requests. A special shoutout to the owner Hamid, who always goes the extra mile.

I had a comfortable room and a really good night’s sleep while visiting last month for Scotland vs Denmark in the World Cup qualifiers. The hotel is in a great location, and the staff were very friendly. The owner, Hamid Mahmood, was especially helpful and welcoming throughout. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would come back.

For visitors wanting to get around Glasgow, Charing Cross Hotel is practical and well placed, with the city centre, West End, and public transport easy to reach. It’s near Sauchiehall Street and major bus and subway routes, which makes exploring shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions simple. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable, and the staff are often friendly and helpful. It’s more functional than luxurious, and some areas may feel a little dated, but the price, location, and welcoming atmosphere make it a reliable choice for a short stay. Charing cross hotel is so amazing.
