Aparthotel Adagio Glasgow Central

We booked two rooms for a three-night family holiday. Both apartments were laid out well and very quiet, and the hotel feels new and is in great shape. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. The gym is small, but had everything you’d need for a workout, including various cardio machines and a full set of weights.

The location was ideal for exploring Glasgow, with main sights and shops such as Tesco and Lidl close by. Enoch subway Station is a 2-minute walk, Enoch shopping centre is nearby, and Buchanan Street is about a 5-10 minute walk along the stretch. The only real drawback was that the area could feel a bit sketchy early in the morning and in the evening, so be wary. A nice surprise was how many Shawarma shops were close by. Lazord, about a 2-minute walk away, had tasty Shawarma for sure. I had a great stay in August 2025 and was glad I picked Adiago for my first Glasgow visit. The room was clean, spacious, and had a very big, comfortable bed. Staff were super helpful when we arrived and checked in. We were early, so we left our luggage in their very handy storage. The hotel has trendy aesthetics, and the lobby has extra facilities and games, which was cool. The lemon and cucumber water at reception was refreshing after a long day out. The kitchen is small but fine for a short stay, and it’s well equipped with everything else you’d need, though an oven would have been ideal. There’s an iron, ironing board and safe box too. The TV is a bit outdated, but it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, an amazing stay, 10/10.

I spent about 10 nights here and didn’t have a single complaint. My room was beautifully furnished and had an amazing city view. There were convenient amenities that made the stay more comfortable, and whenever I needed to get in touch, the staff were always extremely helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend it to others.

The location is ideal for Glasgow, with Glasgow Central and Queen Stations about 5 minutes away, a Subway right outside, and Lidl and Tesco Express a 2-minute walk away. Check-in and checkout were painless, the staff were friendly, and secure bag storage is right behind the front desk. The clean room had everything you might need. Laundry is on site and cash only, £3.00 per wash and £3.00 per dry. The gym is basic but well equipped. There was almost no room noise and no street noise at night, even though our room faced the road. The double beds were separated to give more space, but there were problems closing the windows. Wifi could be faster than it was, and the TV channel selection was pretty poor. You could broadcast from a device, but that option is disabled if you need to use a VPN.
