Bodiwan was a great base for seeing Snowdonia and the North West Coast of Wales. We spent two nights there on a mini break in Bala and felt very safe with the Covid guidelines in place. Sarah looked after us so well and made sure we had what we needed. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the cooked breakfast was generous. I’d highly recommend it.

We marked our first wedding anniversary with a stay at Bodiwan and would come back. The house’s decor suited it beautifully, and our room was clean, comfortable, with hot running water and lovely high ceilings. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

Sarah and Mark made our weekend, with invaluable tips about local walks, restaurants and the area. We’re grateful for their help, especially Sarah’s reassurance that we could charge our electric car overnight from an external socket. That gave us enough charge to enjoy the weekend. The property is magnificent and well placed. Our room had everything we needed, and breakfast was superb. Everything went smoothly from booking through to departure.

The owners were lovely, and the setting was great. Our room was clean and well kept, with hot water whenever we needed it. The stay lived up to the glowing TripAdvisor reviews I’d read. Thanks for a wonderful visit, I’d highly recommend it.

We stayed in the Mimosa cottage, which gave us useful extra space when the weather turned poor. Breakfast was so substantial that Sarah seems disappointed if guests still need lunch! A friendly, well run B&B, just an easy walk from Bala town centre.
