The owner was so kind and went out of her way to help us. We also found the location handy for nearby sights, whether you’re visiting estates or heading out for activities. Though it’s close to the road, it was quiet and peaceful. Our room was lovely and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was good. A wonderful B&B, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the Deeside.

We even got to watch wildlife over breakfast, which was a lovely extra. The staff were friendly and attentive, the breakfast was excellent, and the beds were really comfortable. The rooms were immaculate. A five star stay.

Easy to get out onto the forest walks, and a great spot for watching wildlife. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable, while breakfast had lots of choice and was super. I’d definitely recommend it.

Kath made us feel at ease even when we were running late, and found room for us at breakfast one morning despite it being full. We really appreciated that, and the breakfast was very nice. The apartment was a great size for our three night stay, with comfy beds, a couple of nice sofas, and an immaculate, spacious bathroom. It even had a washing machine. Kath was a wonderful host, and her suggestions for nearby Ballater were very helpful. We enjoyed the stay so much, we won’t forget it. Thanks, Kath.
