After a long, tiring day on the coast route, all we wanted was a chance to rest, and The Ammiroy House was just right. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Marion, the lovely owner, was attentive and always ready to help, and she cooks a wonderful breakfast that really set us up for the day. Thanks, Marion, for two lovely days together.

Marian made us feel right at home from the start. She cooked us a brilliant breakfast, and even fixed one for our dog too. We’ll definitely stay with her again.

We couldn't get out of there fast enough. The older woman who greeted us was abrupt and unsettling, and didn't even open the door. With no sign to show it was a BnB, I was left wondering if we'd found the right place. When I asked where to park, since I'd requested parking, she just said, “round the back.” I asked how to get there and pointed to a drive that wasn't obvious, but got the same answer again. The house had a strange smell, and the whole place felt so creepy. Neither of us had been this uncomfortable in a long time.

A lovely, quiet place to stay in Ballycastle for a couple of nights. Marion is a really sweet host, and I'd recommend it.
