Carnately Lodge Ballycastle

We were made to feel very welcome by our friendly, helpful hosts, who were happy to sort out anything we needed. The hotel was spotless and peaceful, and the location worked perfectly for exploring the north coast. A lovely place for a night or two, with a great breakfast too.

The lodge was peaceful and had that cozy B&B feel that made us feel at home. It’s just outside town, an easy drive away, and the beds were comfortable. Natasha was so welcoming and helpful, even when we ignored her sensible advice and walked 1.3 km back in pouring rain. We thought we were being adventurous, but ended up soaked and a bit scared. There are cabs, and Natasha will call one for you! The place was spotless and breakfast was chef’s kiss. We stayed two nights during our three-week trip around Ireland, and this was honestly one of our favorite stops. Natasha went above and beyond, and we left feeling like we’d stayed with family, with good food and great travel tips. We’d absolutely come back. Highly recommend, and listen to Natasha, she knows what she’s talking about.

The brownies and prosecco were a lovely extra. On a windy February night, Natasha went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Such warm, cozy hospitality. 10/10 recommend!

We stayed three nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were wonderful, and our room was spacious, with a comfy bed and a great shower. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The host also knew the area well and had lots of good tips on what to do and where to go. A very good B&B on the outskirts of Ballycastle.
