At 11 pm, we knocked on the door just as the host was about to go to bed. They came to our rescue and arranged a private room for us, with a very comfortable bed and a refreshing shower. Their kindness and help made the start of our trip in Northern Ireland so happy. For a great Irish-style breakfast, try the bay Coffee!

The owners were very nice, and the beds were comfortable. The room was basic, but more than enough if you just need somewhere to sleep. I would have liked a mirror in the toilet. Other guests were very noisy at night and again in the morning.

The hostel was cozy and well maintained, pretty much what you want from a small-town place. The owner was really sweet and accommodating. Before we walked towards Ballintoy, he suggested a route that turned out to be much better than that stretch of the Causeway Coast Way.

There was a kitchen where we could make our own food, and the owners were very nice. We got their last room, though, and the beds were really uncomfortable. There was no breakfast either.

The hostel was clean and welcoming, and I have nothing bad to say about it. The only issue was some noisy guests, which made it harder to rest, but that wasn't the hostel's fault.
