Glass Island Boutique Luxury B&B

Sharon’s home is on a peaceful street, with a big driveway for parking. The hosts put a lot of effort into making guests feel welcome and looking after them. We enjoyed meeting them and the other travelers over breakfast each morning, which was amazing every day. The accommodation was very comfortable, and the beach and harbor are a lovely stroll away. Shops and restaurants in town are also within walking distance, or a quick drive. We loved our stay at this beautiful B&B and would happily return if we’re back in the area.

The location is handy, one street back from the water, though the view is mostly of the parking lot and other houses. We were able to book at the last minute without any problem. The hosts were amazing, really friendly and knowledgeable, and breakfast was superb. Our room was clean and modern, with a super comfortable bed.

Sharon was a kind, welcoming host and gave us helpful tips about the area. The room was immaculate, and breakfast was outstanding. More than a year later, we still talk about it. It was our favourite stay on last fall’s trip, thanks to the quiet spot just a short walk from town and the waterfront. We’d love to come back.

We had a lovely one-night stay at Glass Island. Sharon greeted us when we arrived, showed us to our gorgeous room and arranged our breakfast time. Breakfast was cooked to order, delicious and beautifully presented. I especially loved the overnight oats. It’s an easy walk to the beach and several restaurants, and we had a nice meal at O'Connor's Bar. Ballycastle is well worth a stroll. Sharon and Padraig have every detail covered, and we highly recommend Glass Island.
