The gardens and surroundings were full of colour, with shrubs, trees, rabbits, squirrels, and sheep. Spending a weekend in this beautiful home, with all its history, made for a memorable stay. It was a privilege to meet the Manor's hosts, Inge & Charles. They were insightful and very helpful with suggestions for places to visit and eat.

This is a lovely old-world time capsule, full of character and cared for by hosts who understand fine living and share it with their guests. The service went above and beyond: they gave us advice, directions, conversation, and breakfast even though we left at 5:59 am. They also booked us a Friday dinner at a place with live music. The garden had bunnies, and our room and bed were comfortable. The pictures really don’t do the place justice, with pleasant surprises around every corner. Just know it won’t suit anyone who only likes new, trendy, sleek places.
