The Bannville Hotel

Seeing the livestock was the only good part of our trip. We paid £400 for two nights, and what we experienced wasn't worth it. The place has potential, but it needs proper attention to cleanliness and maintenance before it can justify that price. In its current state, I wouldn't recommend staying here. The hot tub was the main reason we booked this glamping stay, but it was the biggest letdown. Its cover was covered in dirt and debris, and there were cobwebs all around the area. We were told it had been cleaned, which made us feel our concerns were being dismissed, but it certainly didn't look recently cleaned. There were problems throughout the accommodation too. The toilet clearly hadn't been cleaned properly, and its seat wouldn't stay up, so I had to sit to use it. The door blind was faulty and only closed if pulled across by hand. We couldn't use the TV because there was no remote, the lamp above the bed didn't work, and another lamp was missing until we found it hidden on top of a cupboard. It felt like nobody had properly checked the place before we arrived. Even the doormat was just a loose cut-off piece of carpet that shifted whenever we came or went.
