We were exhausted after travelling, so we gave up trying to clean and left for somewhere else that was clean. The property felt grubby throughout. There was dirt in the toilet, food on the floors and under the dining table, sticky drink marks on the lounge chairs, yogurt in the leather sofa, and Coco Pops by the chair. Tables and hallway glass hadn't been cleaned either. In the kitchen there were food stains on the tiles and worktops, with mould behind the sink. I couldn't see a fire blanket or extinguisher there. The entryway, which seemed to be the fire exit, had things around it, and I don't understand how that isn't a health and safety breach. Getting to the third-floor apartment meant climbing lots of stairs in the dark, and we couldn't find any light switches. They offered to clean the place, but I refused. I had planned to do it myself, but as we started, it just seemed worse. If I could rate this property minus ten, I would.
