Snowdon Lodge

The owner was kind and helped us find our way around since we were new to the city. The rooms were nice and clean, and Alan was polite and a real gentleman. 10/10.

It’s a quiet spot and we slept really well. The hotel is tucked away at the end of the coastal road, then you cross the railway through a passage with gates to open and close. At first you might wonder if you’re in the right place, but you are. We had a family room with disabled access, and it was well set up. There was a super king bed, two singles, including a hospital bed that can be moved to suit, and a roomy wet room with a powerful shower. The room also had a full corner sofa, 64 inch TV, full sized fridge and microwave, kettle, full sized wardrobe, vanity table and mirror, plus an outdoor seating area just for us. Breakfast was included and really good, with plenty of choice and options for everyone. The woman running the hotel and her staff were lovely.

The beach is literally seconds away, and the staff are really kind and lovely. It’s child and dog friendly too. Town is a bit of a walk, and the nearest cafe wasn’t great.

Kayleigh and her family made us feel so welcome, and Kay gave us great service. The place was clean, tidy and really spacious. Our room had tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a fridge with bottled water. Breakfast was amazing, with anything from the menu available, along with hot and cold drinks and pastries. We stayed for the weekend and would love to come back, but they’re fully booked this bank holiday weekend. Hopefully we can plan another trip.
