After a full day fishing on the Tees, coming back here felt like going home. I stayed with friends earlier this year, and we're already planning another visit as soon as we can. Andrew made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. He's a lovely, welcoming host, and made the best breakfast I've had in years, with amazing sausages. The rooms were immaculate and the bedding crisp, like new. Without doubt, the best Bed and Breakfast in Middleton Teesdale. Thanks, Andrew.

A real standout for anyone walking the Pennine Way. Andrew was thoughtful and welcoming, and paid attention to all the little details. My room was comfortable and beautifully appointed, and breakfast was both generous and delicious. The best accommodation on the trail.

I only wish I'd stayed more than one night at Brunswick. It was perfect, literally, and the most memorable of all the places I stayed on the Pennine Way this year. The host knows the area well and has a lifetime of hospitality experience to draw on, and breakfast was superb quality.

Andrew even took care of a big pile of laundry for me during my two-night stay while walking the Pennine Way. Fresh fruit and chilled fresh milk in the room were lovely extras. It was an exceptional B&B all round, with a comfortable room, good facilities and excellent food.
