The service was excellent, and the gantry was well stocked. A proper old-fashioned pub, with friendly locals.

A really welcoming local pub. The staff are friendly, the beer is great, and there's an open fire and live music, all at a very reasonable price.

The coal fire makes the bar lovely and warm, and the landlord keeps the beer well. It's a comfortable, friendly locals' pub with a big focus on games.

Local people, a great atmosphere, and that lovely old-fashioned pub feel. Love it.

They had a good range of other drinks, but the cask ale was awful. It's the village pub, though I didn't find it very inviting, and the football advertised on TV wasn't on.
