If you’re staying in Barnard Castle, I’d stay here. The landlady even drew the curtains for us while we were out. The rooms are spotless, with tea, coffee and even ground coffee for the cafetière. Breakfast was to die for, and there were refills of tea and coffee as much as we wanted. Best B&B you’ll ever stay in.

Margaret and her staff made us all feel welcome. The room and bed were clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and the service was polite. I’d recommend it if you’re staying in the area. Thanks again from Mrs Wendy Hardy, Mrs Norma Stockwell, Mrs Pamela Bailey and Mr Michael Bailey.
