We spent a glorious long weekend here, staying in the room called Amelie. The place is fascinating, and the owners and staff were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and looking at the sculptures. As vegetarians, we found a good choice of food, though the portions could have been a little bigger. It was a birthday treat and we loved it.

We only came for a cream tea and were surprised by what we found. The gardens are beautiful, with some interesting sculptures, and the hotel itself looked amazing. The decor, including the film memorabilia, made it feel fun, comfortable and a bit indulgent, a lovely place to unwind. We'll definitely come back without the kids.

The art and sculptures really speak for themselves. We had a wonderful stay while celebrating our engagement, and my mum had arranged decorations for our door, our room and the table for dinner. The staff were so thoughtful and accommodating throughout. The chef even sent a delicious little gift from the kitchen, and all the meals were amazing, beautifully presented and full of flavour. I'm looking forward to coming back, and would absolutely recommend it.

My now-husband and I chose Broomhill for our September 2023 wedding, and the service made us so happy with that decision. Michele and Alex took the time to check things were going as we wanted, and no task seemed too big. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and fabulous. The venue has gorgeous rooms and stunning views. The food was a highlight too, especially the hog roast they organised, and the hotel breakfast for guests who stayed was stunning. A wonderful place for a once in a lifetime wedding.

We happened to be nearby and stopped to see the gardens and cafe, even though it's not usually our kind of outing. It being dog friendly helped. We ended up staying for over three hours and really enjoyed the gardens and sculptures. Entry was very reasonably priced, and the staff were lovely.
