The evening was lovely from the warm welcome onwards. We came in with our dog and were quickly seated in an area with room for our large dog, which made us comfortable. If a place says it’s dog friendly, it needs to mean it, and this one really did. Orders were taken promptly, and the starters arrived soon after, even on a busy Saturday. The food was impeccable, hot, beautifully presented and amazing to taste. TRY THE CHEESE SOUFFLÉ!! No wonder they’ve been up for so many awards. We weren’t hurried through dinner or rushed to pay. The place has a lovely atmosphere, with low lighting and quiet music. Whoever owns or runs it should be proud. It’s a shame we live so far away, because we’d absolutely be regulars. Thank you for such a lovely evening.

The food was super tasty. There wasn’t anything vegan on the menu, but they still made us an amazing starter and two main courses, and we loved them. It’s dog friendly too, and the waitresses were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The bar had a wonderful atmosphere, and breakfast was fabulous. We got a warm, friendly welcome, a cosy setting, a real fire for our February stay, and a beautiful room with lovely little touches. The food was wonderful too. Everything was perfect for a country pub stay. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s fabulous! x

Breakfast was a real highlight, freshly cooked and full of flavour. The Pyne Arms in Devon is a beautiful country inn with character, in a stunning location. The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms spotless, and the bed so comfortable that we had one of our best nights’ sleep in ages. It’s very dog friendly, which made it ideal for bringing our four legged friend along to explore the North Devon countryside. A cosy, welcoming place with excellent food and genuine hospitality. I’d highly recommend The Pyne Arms to couples, families and dog owners wanting to enjoy Devon.

The pub is really nice, and the service was great. We had a great meal with our niece and nephew the other evening, the food was excellent. We’ll be back.
