This was our third stay here, and we’ve enjoyed it enough to keep coming back. The staff are friendly, the service is great, and the place feels comfortable. The housekeeping team does a brilliant job keeping everything spotless, and the hotel itself is very clean. We’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, well-kept place to stay.

The calm, elegant setting was lovely for slowing down and enjoying afternoon tea, and it made a special birthday treat feel like a real luxury. The food was sumptuous throughout: fresh, well-balanced sandwiches, light scones with excellent accompaniments, and pastries that looked beautiful and tasted just as good. Nothing felt overdone. Ambre and Talha took such good care of us. They were warm, attentive, and professional without hovering, and their thoughtful service made the occasion especially memorable. From start to finish, it was a delightful experience. I’d happily go back and recommend it for a special occasion.

The junior suite was enjoyable and worth the price for me because of the central location. It’s a good size, with a huge super king bed and a walk-in wardrobe. There’s a bewildering amount of tech and screens in the room; the washlet control screen was the standout, though I didn’t find all of it very useful. Parking costs £65 per night.

The checkout left me uncomfortable. A fixed nightly Discretionary Service Charge was presented as mandatory, with no explanation that it was optional under UK regulations and no choice offered to accept or decline it. It was much more than I’d budgeted for, so I had to split the payment across several cards. That was especially surprising since I’d been tipping staff directly each day. Charges like this need to be explained clearly in advance or handled transparently at checkout, without pressure. Apart from that, The Peninsula London gave us a polished, well-organized stay, even over the busy Christmas period. Service stayed professional from arrival through departure. Check-in was welcoming and smooth, and the concierge team stood out for being efficient, knowledgeable about London, and seamless with recommendations, arrangements, and transport. The luxury car rides in Rolls Royce, Mercedes, and BMW to Harrods, Selfridges, Mayfair, and Park Lane were convenient and added real value. The room was practical and fully equipped, with a printer, coffee machine, full heating, and a thoughtfully designed bathroom with a bidet shower and comfortable heating. Essentials were already there, and the Flip Box made laundry, pressing, and deliveries easy and private, without interruptions. The lobby was elegant, and cleanliness and organization were maintained to a high standard throughout. Food and coffee were excellent, including well-prepared Eastern dishes. At the lobby restaurant, the menu had plenty of variety and was well balanced. I enjoyed the afternoon tea, meat biryani, desserts, and comfort dishes suited to Middle Eastern tastes. Everything I tried was flavorful and well prepared. Special thanks to Mr Galib Rahman, Assistant Guest Experience Manager, for his professionalism and genuine care for guest comfort. The stay was strong overall, and better transparency at checkout would make the experience fair and consistent for future guests.

The rooms were modern, spacious, and really comfortable, and the service made this our best London hotel by far. We visit London often and have stayed at almost every hotel here. Everyone we met at the Peninsula London made us feel welcome, from Garfield and Sonia at Reception to Gabriella in Guest Relations, the housekeeping team who handled all our needs, and the breakfast room service staff. We had a wonderful stay and were touched by their warmth and hospitality.
