Dreams Hotel - Park View

I came for the nightclub and stayed here for the night instead of heading home without any rest. The room smelled awful, and there was a huge spider on the bed, which was unpleasant. Still, the staff were all friendly in my opinion, the food was good, and the club had a really nice atmosphere. The rooms need a makeover, but I managed to sleep a bit and got home safely.

The nightclub underneath the hotel blasted music every night from 10PM to 3AM. The bass vibrations came right through the pillow, and the windows and walls rumbled. The shower curtain and couch were both covered in stains. The workers were probably nice people, but there was no hospitality at all during our three nights. They said maybe two sentences to us and didn't even say hello when we arrived or left. I'd look for somewhere else.

The music nearby went on until 3am, so be aware of that. It was Saturday night, though, and it didn't ruin our stay. We arrived to a cold room, but it was easy to warm up, and tea and coffee were provided. There were cosmetic problems like a broken socket, marks on the walls, and stains, but those didn't define the whole place, which had clearly also had a lot of care put into it. It's comfortable, fairly spacious, affordable, and has parking for £15 just outside the ULEZ. The location is great for Barking tube. Would we stay again for a drive into London, use the tube, come back after a few drinks, and sleep before heading home to Essex? Yes.

Receptionist Shubham gave very good service. He was polite and extremely professional, answered all my questions, and dealt with my concerns quickly. I enjoyed the area and the hotel overall. Would recommend.
