Travelodge London Ealing

The location worked perfectly for what we needed, with a great local area and good links across London. The room was clean, but very basic and lacked the usual things like a hair dryer, iron and cupboards. It turned into a hot box, with no air conditioning and no airflow even when the window was open as far as it would go. The plumbing for the whole floor ran through a cupboard in the corridor beside our room, so whenever anyone turned on a tap, we could hear the valves in our room.

The room was clean and pleasant, and even with the hot weather the fan kept me cool enough. I’d been concerned there was no air conditioning, but it did the job. The staff were really nice too, especially Vinci at reception and Tota.

I paid for a non-refundable booking and tried to switch it to another hotel in the chain. They wouldn't let me. I can understand not being able to cancel, but having to call an expensive premium-rate number and sit on hold for ages just to learn they can't move the booking was frustrating.

I keep coming back because Nadia makes the place feel like a home instead of just another hotel. She remembers my name and the room I like, and check-in is always easy with her. She's welcoming, dedicated, and happy to go out of her way for guests. That kind of service is hard to find in hospitality these days. The whole team is great, but Nadia is the reason I’ve stayed here so many times. Please recognize her for it. Thank you, Nadia.
