Travelodge London Edmonton

Although the location is decent, I had a poor stay at Travelodge London Edmonton. The room was far too warm, and the air conditioning didn't seem to work properly. There was also a strong drain smell throughout. The blocked sink was disgusting enough to make me feel sick. I reported it, but nothing meaningful was done. The carpets were worn well beyond what I'd consider acceptable and clearly hadn't been maintained properly. Basic standards weren't met, and the lack of action after I raised the problems was disappointing. I wouldn't stay again.

We were there for 24 hours, and the water was shut off at 4:00 PM and stayed off until the next day. A hotel without running water is unacceptable and unsanitary. The Wi-Fi was free for just the first 30 minutes, then they wanted £7-8, which is outrageous. In 2026, charging that much for basic internet while not providing a basic utility like water is a joke. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We appreciated that the room was clean and had towels, but were disappointed by the almost nonexistent mobile network coverage inside. The lodge is in the town centre, so that was a surprise. We thought we'd be able to use mobile data for work, but there was practically no signal in our room. Our saver rate included only 30 minutes of complimentary WiFi, with a charge after that.

The rooms were clean and as expected, though I would've liked a toilet brush in the bathroom. The location is handy for Tottenham Hotspur matches, and our Uber rides there and back came to £36. The parking was a frustrating mess. I entered my registration on the tablet at reception, but the next day the adjacent car park didn't recognise it, so I paid the maximum £10. I believe it should've been around £4. There was no barrier at the entrance, and I didn't see an NPR camera either, so I'm not sure how the system is meant to work.
