Dreamwood Lodge

Jen was a great host and easy to contact if we needed anything. The bedrooms were lovely, with good bedding, and everything seemed to have been thought through. It was a beautiful, warm place to relax for a family weekend. We loved the hot tub and the garden was great for our dogs. We also enjoyed walking to the common and ponds, having coffee at the friendly Heathfields and dinner nearby at the Kings Arms.

A lovely place to stay for a city break. Everything was good quality and well maintained. I'd highly recommend it to anyone staying in the London area.

Five of us came for a weekend for a friend's 40th, and Jen made it easy from the start. She was really friendly and helpful, answering all my questions before we arrived. We spent two nights in a beautiful setting, with a modern feel inside and a country feel outside. The hot tub was amazing and the bed had lovely, high quality sheets. We couldn't have asked for more. The owner was cheerful and quick to help when our toaster blew the electricity on Sunday. She arrived within 20 minutes, reset the electricity, asked us not to use the toaster and apologised. Half an hour later she came back with a brand new one because she didn't want us to be without it. She also arranged a time with us before coming to check the hot tub. I couldn't ask for better service. We booked Friday to Monday for three nights after my partner's daughter found the place. Check-in was simple, and we found a lovely two-bedroom lodge and an amazing annex. There was parking for two cars, a nice garden and a delightful hot tub. Both places were nicely decorated, with quality furniture and everything we needed, from a washer and fridge freezer to a dishwasher and toaster. It's on a leafy, country lane kind of street, yet only a couple of minutes' drive from shops, nightlife and supermarkets, and an eight-mile drive to the train station. Handy but tucked away. We'll come back next year. Thanks for a cracking stay.
