The food was spot on, and we found room for dessert after generous portions that didn't leave us overfull. The cheese plate and ice creams were both 10/10. We tried a good part of the menu: crisp fish and chips, excellent pie with slow-cooked beef cheek, tender juicy steaks and a great-looking burger. We were so well looked after by all the staff, who were welcoming, attentive and thoughtful throughout. The interior, tables, spacing and settings were lovely too. We're delighted we visited and already planning to come back to try the rest of the menu. Just what you'd want from a Vale country gastro pub.

We went at short notice as five adults and three children, and the host was incredibly nice and helpful. The full allergen menu was clear and came alongside the regular one. Staff spoke confidently about allergens and possible adjustments, making this my best experience for allergies so far. Everyone enjoyed the well-cooked food, which tasted awesome. We're already working out when to return, and I'll recommend the place to everyone.

The Fox and Hound has a country feel mixed with a modern touch, and the food was amazing, probably the best I've had in years. Owner Adam Jones was a fantastic host, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and clearly knew their stuff. I'll definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone.

We stayed in October and had a lovely weekend. The rooms are a little run down, but we knew that when booking and had spoken with them about the renovations in progress. The service was great, with a friendly atmosphere, quality cooked pub food, and a really good breakfast and coffee. We'd definitely return once the work is finished.

The three of us had the Sunday roast, choosing pork belly, beef, and root veg pie, all with the trimmings. It was incredible and delicious. Service was great and the atmosphere lovely. Would recommend, and you MUST order the Cauliflower Cheese!
