The breakfast was lovely, all ready for our slot and really well done. Our family room was comfortable and handy, and the host was absolutely lovely. You can hear the front door and the road, though the upstairs guests weren’t audible. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d bring earplugs. I’d definitely stay again.

We only stayed one night, and the clean, smart room suited us well. The host offered a continental breakfast, but my partner and I chose to get a full English at Barry Island Beachfront instead. I didn’t meet the host, just spoke briefly by phone to find out our room, and since everything went smoothly that was fine. No complaints from me, I’d recommend it.

Breakfast was delicious, with cereals, bread, pastries and juice, and the bathroom had a great power shower. The bedroom was lovely, with a comfortable bed and tea and coffee facilities. The place is beautifully decorated and really stylish, and we got a warm welcome. Highly recommend.

The room was on the small side, but tidy and practical, and breakfast was a good continental spread. Meryl was a wonderful host. She sent the instructions well ahead of time and called me on the day.

We came to see the sights of Gavin and Stacey for my 40th birthday, and it was our first stay in Wales. Meryl was so welcoming and accommodating. On my birthday morning, I came down to find a bottle of processco and some cupcakes waiting as a surprise. She also knew a lot about the area and suggested a few places to visit. We’ll definitely stay again, highly recommend.
