We stayed in the White Room and both slept well. It’s at the front of the house beside Whitstable’s main road, so traffic at night could be a consideration if you’re a light sleeper. We’re used to it and it didn’t bother us, but another room might suit someone wanting a quieter night. The room was bright, spacious, spotless, and had a very comfortable bed. Sue made us feel at home, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We also really appreciated the allocated parking space, and the town centre is about a ten-minute walk away. A really enjoyable stay, thanks Sue!

Sue made our four-night stay enjoyable. She was a superb host, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The room was clean and very comfortable, and breakfast was both plentiful and delicious. We’d happily return and recommend staying here. Thanks, Sue, from Brigitte and Denis.

The room was comfortable, with a wash basin, colour TV and DVD, fridge, and plenty of storage. The furnishings and decor were in good shape, mostly new, and the wooden floor with rugs was a nice touch. There’s a great shower in the shared bathroom, too. The landlady was friendly and helpful. It’s central but quiet, and very good value, among the cheapest in town. I’d stay again.

Sue, the proprietor, was lovely. The room was tasteful and extremely clean, and breakfast was fabulous. Definitely recommended, and we’ll be back.

We couldn’t stay at Cliftonville House because of the COVID tiers, but Sue was brilliant about explaining our options and keeping in touch. I still wanted to leave her a review, and hope we can visit soon!
