The kitchen had everything we needed for making meals, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. The Anchorage felt like a home away from home and was just right for our visit to Barry. Thanks, Lorraine and Simon, for a lovely weekend away. xxx

The owners were lovely and really helpful, and the garden with its outdoor table was a nice surprise since I hadn't realised there was outside space. We had a lovely three-night stay at The TackleShed. It was peaceful, spotless, spacious and nicely furnished, with everything we could need. If we come back to the area, we'd certainly stay again.

The place and location were cracking. We came down for the rugby and it worked perfectly for us. We'll definitely be back.
