Stephen on the phone was incredibly helpful after I had a reservation problem with the house next door. I called the number on the front of Arlan House, and ended up having a great, very clean stay there. Thanks to Stephen, I didn’t have to sleep in my car.

For an affordable price, you get a quiet location, clean, well-kept rooms and secure access. I’d definitely recommend it.

The location was a real plus, about three minutes from the centre and restaurants, and for what we paid it was brilliant. Check-in was easy when we arrived on time, and complimentary water and biscuits were a nice touch. Stephan also went out of his way to arrange the late checkout we asked for, which made the stay even better. Great service.

The heat made it hard to sleep because there wasn’t enough ventilation in the rooms. There was a standing fan in the bedroom, but it didn’t solve the problem. Otherwise, this would have been a great place to stay. The apartments are modern, small but roomy enough, and comfortable for a short visit. We had two adjoining rooms, with a bedroom and en suite connected to a kitchen and lounge with a sofa bed. Everything was very clean and modern, and the kitchen had all the appliances needed to cook a meal. The shower was a good size, but it’s overhead, so remember a shower cap. The location was quiet, with parking bays beside the apartments, though no space assigned to our rooms. We had trouble with the key safe because someone else had booked for us, and had to phone to get the code.
