Abbey Mews

For a group of eight, the garden was a real luxury on a city break. The Georgian house has been restored beautifully, and the owner was helpful and knowledgeable, with an easy check-in and check-out. Bath is right outside: the train station is a five-minute walk, M & S is just around the corner for stocking the fridge, and there are loads of restaurants and bars nearby. We’ll definitely be back.

Our hosts met us, helped with parking and unloading, and were so kind. The house was lovely and comfortable, with plenty of space for seven adults and a baby, and everything we needed. It’s easy to explore the city on foot. We also had exclusive access to a little park beside the river, which made for a magical evening. I love Bath, and now it feels like I have a home to return to there. Thanks for making our family holiday so special and memorable. I can’t wait to come back.

We spent Christmas 2019 at Abbey Mews and couldn’t find fault with anything. The house was wonderful, with every detail taken care of, and it’s close to all the amenities and the city centre. From the initial booking and arranging our requirements to being welcomed by Alex on the day, the whole experience was first class and very guest-focused. I’d highly recommend Abbey Mews.

The owners were very accommodating about my sister’s two-month-old, and provided a baby bed and other things we needed. It was a lovely house for seven people, with lots of space and a great kitchen for cooking. I really liked the traditional townhouse’s Jane Austen feel. It was just right for my family and me over New Year.
