We had a great weekend at Ashely Villa, and our experience was nothing like the review below, which was written a long time ago. It’s an easy walk into Bath. We went through the park and saw the Royal Crescent and the Circus, both really impressive. The room was small, but clean, comfortable and simply styled, unlike many English B&Bs. Breakfast was great, with a brilliant fresh fruit salad and really tasty homemade marmalade. I’d definitely recommend it and would return next time we’re in Bath.

The managers were easy to talk to and helped us, as first-time visitors to Bath, with local advice, including restaurant suggestions. Our deal included a free Bath Spa pass, which was definitely worth recommending. Breakfast was a feast, and I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit. It’s a friendly little B&B, with compact but comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms and en suites. Handy for Bath too, about a 15-20 minute walk to the centre, with free off-road parking. We visited this great hotel for a weekend recently.

The main drawback was the nighttime noise from the main road. I woke up a couple of times, though I fell back asleep each time. Otherwise, I loved our holiday in Bath. The food was brilliant, our room was clean and tidy, and the kind, helpful staff gave us maps for getting around. The centre is about a 20-25 minute walk away, and buses into town came right outside every two minutes. It was a good visit.

We really appreciated the hospitality and how clean everything was. The customer service was excellent, and the friendly staff were happy to share information about Bath. We’d definitely book here again.
