We had an idyllic week together at Bloomfield House after one of our daughters got married. It was an ideal base, and being close to central Bath and its many attractions was a bonus. The owners have lovingly renovated the property to a really high standard, and we had an amazing time. The bedrooms feel luxurious, nearly all with their own plush bathroom. There are comfortable lounges and sitting rooms, including one that's great for cocktails, plus a cinema room, a large fully equipped kitchen, and a cupboard well stocked with tea and coffee. Outside, there's a hot tub, an outdoor kitchen and BBQ area, and a large garden. There are so many thoughtful details that it's hard to list them all. Bloomfield House is truly exceptional, off the charts.

We really enjoyed the garden setting, especially the hot tub looking out over Bath, and the snug cinema room was another favourite. The master suites had lovely beds and freestanding baths. Every detail of the interiors felt thoughtfully done, and the whole stay was faultless. Although it’s self catering, they brought out a beautifully presented continental breakfast each morning. The housekeepers were easy to reach by phone and very helpful.

We had a brilliant family stay here. There’s plenty of room for everyone, with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and really generous shared spaces. The decor is gorgeous too. Such a stunning house, and we’d happily come back.
