The area was really peaceful at night, and it's very close to the city centre. Breakfast had plenty of options. I liked Xena & Mike, who were polite and friendly. I appreciated that they didn't ask personal questions about my job or life. They were professional and minded their own business. You go on a trip to relax, not for a job interview.

The house was lovely, with plush grey carpet and friendly hosts. The bathroom and toilet looked newly renovated, and it was nice that they were separate. They'd even found gluten free cornflakes for my mum, which was awesome. We had a lovely little chat before heading on, and I can definitely recommend it. Getting there and parking without hyperventilating was the hardest part. It was only our second day in the UK, and driving on the left was still a challenge. Then we had to make a right turn on a left-hand bend while going downhill. You can imagine how that felt.

Our hosts gave us a friendly welcome, and the atmosphere stayed warm throughout. We could park on the drive without any trouble. Breakfast was continental each morning, and the room and house were very clean and well kept, with an open-plan layout. The facilities were lovely and had everything we needed. The location was good, about a mile from the town centre. It had everything we came for.

The walk into town takes about 15 minutes, and the house is lovely and peaceful. It was really clean and well cared for, with a continental breakfast that had plenty to choose from. The hosts were friendly too. I’d definitely recommend it.

We could leave the car and explore Bath on foot, since the location was so convenient. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and the rooms were spotless with all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was great and nicely set out by the back garden. Thanks for having us. We’d happily come back and recommend it.
