I felt really uncomfortable here and wouldn’t stay again. When you arrive, you’re greeted by the resident squatter instead of Henry. She seems to have taken over the ground floor, so breakfast is no longer available. My room was okay, but there were several people’s hairs on the sheets, and there wasn’t a kettle or TV. The long list of instructions sent after booking basically says not to make a sound after 9pm. Be cautious.

I had a pleasant stay in a calm, cosy, clean place. My king-size room had a shared toilet, but it was clean, and the room had the basics I needed, including a microwave and some books. The large glass window brought in lovely morning sun. I wanted to stay longer, but check-in was at 5pm because someone else had the room the next day. The owner asked me to leave my luggage, including my laptop, out in the open by the entrance, which I wasn’t comfortable doing. A locker for bags would have helped. Still, I enjoyed the stay.
