The hosts were very helpful, and I’d definitely recommend the room and its location. My son and I spent one lovely night in a comfortable top-floor room with a good outlook over Bath. There was a kettle, tea, coffee and snacks. It was easy to walk into the city and take in the Circus and other historic sights along the way. We got into Bath after 4pm and wanted to explore the next day. Since we’d parked at the Park and Ride, hauling our luggage into town was a bit irritating. A shop called fancy that of London, opposite the Roman Baths, will look after bags for the day for £6. Bus 31 from the Park and Ride will take you back up the hill near Hill House if you’d rather not walk.

Our top-floor room had a lovely view over the city, and the big, comfortable bed made the place feel homely. There was a TV, plus water, a kettle, tea and coffee for a nice start or end to the day. It had such a welcoming feel, and I’d love to stay again when visiting Bath for a few days.

The room was large and beautiful, with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities, and it was spotlessly clean. I hadn’t realised this was a discounted guest house, which was my mistake, but it was better than most guest houses even so. A bigger TV and some spare cups might be useful in our room, but that’s about all I’d change. Excellent value for money.

It’s in a great spot, high on the hill with views, but still only a short walk from the centre and main sights. Our room felt warm and cosy, was very comfortable, and had beautiful decor with lots of little details that made it feel special. We had everything we needed. I’d highly recommend it!

We came for two nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday and absolutely loved our stay. The room was spacious, lovely, smelled gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. We knew when booking that breakfast wouldn’t be served during renovations, but they’d left fruit and treats, which was a really nice touch. The owner we met was very helpful. The place is at the top of a huge hill. We drove down into town and paid to park there, so it’s manageable if you don’t mind doing that. We’d definitely come back!
