The staff were genuinely welcoming, and the room looked nice, but the building's security worries affected our stay a lot. Our room was beside the rear car park, where a door gives direct access to the hotel. It opens automatically in the daytime; at night, pressing the reception intercom lets someone in without any identity check. The room also had a door straight to the car park, secured only by two small bolts and no internal lock. The main door locked by itself but had no inside lock, so anyone with a key could enter, and its blurred peephole couldn't be used. The shower blocked within minutes. We also didn't think the food was worth what we paid, though the staff member serving was very pleasant. The hotel looks and feels nice, but we found the safety and security lacking. Three stars feels fair.
