Lynwood House

The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with a shower and hand basin. There were useful extras too, like a hair dryer, fan, and extra blankets. The toilet was separate and private, which took a little getting used to, but it was no problem. I got a very friendly welcome and lots of information when I arrived. It’s in a great spot for town, while still being quiet. I’ll definitely stay again on my next visit to Bath, hopefully.

Lynnwood is close to the centre, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and full of character. There’s no breakfast, but that works well since there are loads of places to eat just a few minutes away, and you can set your own schedule. The owners are really helpful and flexible about things like check-in, so it’s a stress-free stay. Highly recommended. Book directly with Lynwood, it’s better for you and for them.

It’s great value, and only a 5-10 minute walk into central Bath. The house feels very secure. My room had a bed, desk, sink, and shower, with a private toilet on the landing. On arrival, the owner took time to talk me through a map and brochure he’d put together about the main sights, restaurants, and pubs.

Christian & Roz were great hosts when we visited friends in Bath. They shared helpful local knowledge about restaurants and shops, as well as the historic city and the best places to visit. Our room was tidy and very clean, and having wifi in it was useful. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bath.
